low achey pressure in belly

been having a low achey pressure in my stomach for the last few days. it doesnt really hurt but its a bit uncomfortable, is this normal? has anybody had this? xx

I feel pressure in my lower belly, i think its just things making way for baby. Of course it depends on how far along you are. Unless it's painful i would try not to worry. Easier said than done, i worry about every little twinge but then tell myself it is an amazing thing that is happening and I shouldn't expect to feel nothing.

Yeah I had this, I also got period pain style cramps although now I am 8w 5 d and it is a lot better. I also had a scan this wek which showed everything was fine! This is your uterus strectching and making room, not to mention the litle bean digging in and clinging on hopefully!!

I'm having all kinds of tummy pains and aches! On one hand it's reassuring that something's happening, but then i panic and think it might be bad too! AAARRGGHHHH!!!

I am exactly the same as you (6w5d) so it's reassuring that you are having these too! It must be normal.

thanks girls, sometimes its like period pains, and then other times its just a dull achey feeling, bit hard to describe but feels a bit like im bloated and its pushing down. but atleast im not the only one xx

Hey Jennyellen,

I had those too pretty much constantly between 5 weeks and 8 weeks. Still get the sensation from time to time but not so strong or so much. I've not had any other problems. The feeling was so much like I was about to get my period that I was convinced I was going to start bleeding but reassuringly I never did.

Still feeling anxious but much better now the ache has pretty much gone.

Hang in there hunney, hope the feeling goes away soon for you too.
