TTC Since Aug '11. 14 dpo with mild cramps last 24hrs, but no sign of AF. BFN this morning. Received AMH Test results: 0.93 :(
Other blood tests came back normal, normal weight (69" 140#). Waiting to test FSH on Monday based on AF starting tomorrow, I assume.
38 years old. 27 day cycle for last 26 years with zero fluctuation. What are my chances of conceiving normally? My friend got PG naturally at 42yo her 2nd month trying. HSG scheduled for some time the end of next week based on CD 6-11, followed by polyp removal. I am not interested in IVF, so do I even have a chance at a non-IVF pregnancy?
I am becoming despondant.

I am in a similar position... 37 with low AMH (0.53), and we won't do IVF. I still don't have a clear answer of what that means in practice. We were given statistics from the RE about the correlation between AMH and IVF success, but not what it means when trying naturally.

Anyone have any hard(er) facts about this?

Thanks for the mutual support. There are plenty of posts WRT AMH and FSH as it relates to IVF, but I haven't seen any relating to conceiving naturally. Between my high stress job and deployments, being told my Dr will be out-of-town the day after my HSG so I will have to wait an extra month to have my polyp removed, but next month I will be in Alaska for work making it August before it can be removed, and the nurse telling me in a peppy voice that it's no problem because they can do it in Aug or Sep (does she not realize I am 38, can't get PG, apparently have old eggs and any missed month is a heartache and causes me to be feel despondant?!), and my insurance status changing with the day... I am about ready to throw in the fertility testing towel and just let God do His work. All this is making me uber frustrated and despondant.

I am 35, been ttc for about 2 years. My AMH at 34 was 0.7. FSH is between 10.6 and 9.0.

My RE gave me a 20% chance of conception with oral meds and IUI. We've done three that haven't worked. We aren't interested in IVF either.

Conceiving on the second try at 42 sounds very, VERY rare to me. Good for her.

Getting my FSH tested Monday. Hopefully they give me atleast a 20% chance with IUI. Those odds aren't bad. My friend's Dr told her on her first visit that she would have to do IVF more than likely. She said she wasn't interested and was putting it in God's hands. No kidding, 2nd month trying! Her baby turned 2 last month and She turned 45 in Apr ;) So, here I'm thinking it must be a piece of cake to get PG. Jokes on me!

Yep, I always thought that too. At least until I was ltttc with multiple failed fertility treatments at 24! What the heck. I thought everyone got knocked up easily in their 20s!:haha:

I am 38 too and have to try naturally, can't afford IVF or IUI.
AMH .93 ( was a bit of a shock) and FSH 4.9.

Specialist appointment in a few days so will see what doc says.
Good luck to you all and I will keep you up today with my situation if its similar to yours might be of interest.
Thanks for reading my post.
