My AMH levels came back at 0.16 which from my understanding is not good. I'm only 28 years old. Does anyone else have the same issue? My appointment with my RE is tomorrow, and I'm starting cycle monitoring and getting more tests done. I've been readin that IVF and donor eggs are the best option for this situation, but obviously I want to try other methods first. I just have a lot of questions and I'm very disheartened. Any experience or advice would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Hiiiiii I have the same problem as mine is also slightly low. My gynae has put me on meds called gonal f. They are to be injected in the tummy for 13 days from day 2. They are suppose to give your ovaries a push so check them out

Also I've read someone's story and hers was 0.3 and she got pregnant on first course of gonal xx

I am 34 (turned 34 in January) I have low AMH and have done 5 IUI treatments never fell pregnant. We are looking at IVF, but currently I have requested my RE to send blood work to my local clinic to get a FULL THYROID Check. I had 11 blood test done almost a year ago, but only TSH was checked, why requesting FULL THROID as TSH can be normal and other numbers off. I hope this could solve my problem, but I am stuck with the INFERTILTY Label due to AMH.

My AMH almost 2 years ago was .44.

The RE I seen has placed an order for this (as I type to you) however wont review with me as he doesn't specialize in Thyroid Issue or something to that nature, but the AMH new test my RE will. Hopefully I can get answers :)

I know that may not have been of help but know there are many of us out there, all different in our path and situation but your not alone--least it's what I've been reading :))

I also have low AMH and high FSH - from all I know it just means I will not respond well to drugs during IVF so am looking into chinese medicine and natural cycle IFV (without the drugs). I know it's very depressing when you first hear the news particularly at your age but this test is quite new and no guarantee that it's being interpreted corrected, only time will tell. I am just treating my low AMh is an indication that I should not waste time and should press on with TTC, nothing more

Hi there,
I have also been told I had a low AMH but I was also told I had an underactive thyroid by the Fertility doctor and that this maybe the reason we weren't conceiving and to start taking thyroxine, my GP disputed it and put me on Kelp tablets for 3 months and when I was tested again my levels were normal.

Hello ESwemba84
I know how you feel - I was told I have a low ovarian reserve last summer - low amh and high fsh, I was broken by the news as I thought it meant it was over. We'd been trying for over 2 years and wish Id looked into this ages ago as Im now 36. Since the summer I have been reading up on my options, Im now feeling much more positive and focused and glad I am dealing with it head on. My lifestyle has changed alot - avoid stress, having acupuncture, living healthily, boyfriend and I are taking fertility vitamins. Im waiting to start IVF as I was told this would be my best chance but in the mean time I am currently on my first round of clomid with IUI. Its been quite a journey so far.

I also have low AMH, mine was 0.66 and I'm 35 years old.

I have 2 round of IVF, the first one I have 7 eggs, with 4 embryos made it to day 5 blasts, but end up with BFN.

Right now I'm 4dp3dt for my IVF#2, and afraid to put my hopes up.

I've tried DHEA, CoQ10, and acupuncture and other supplements 2-3 months before this round of IVF, I've heard good reviews on the internet, but it didn't seem help me so far.
