Low and soft cp? The opposite of what everything says. Any ideas?

Hi, I had my implant removed 5 weeks ago. No AF/withdrawal bleed and (as far as I’m aware) no ovulation yet. It seems my cervix is lowering and softening. This goes against everything I’ve read, soft high for ovulation, low, hard and closed for period coming and after period. A cervix that has already been low and stays low and starts to soften means successful conception (according to google). Neg OPKS and preg tests. So... it’s a mystery, fingers crossed AF may be on its way! That was I can start a cycle and track successfully.

Mine was low and soft until it firmed up all the sudden and AF came. With my two previous pregnancies by time I found out I was pregnant and went for my first visit at OB my cervix was up high, hard and closed per the doc. I have read that cervix changes are not 100% indications of pregnancy. Good luck and baby dust to you.

I've checked it through 3 pregnancies and found for me it has ONLY been reliable to predict ovulation (high, soft) AND was in conjunction with ewcm and ovulation pain. The rest of the cycle I have tracked it all over the place. From personal experience, it means diddly squat when it comes to indicating pregnancy before a test could tell you.
