I just started temping and so far my readings have been: 96.76, 96.48, 96.93, 96.8. Does anyone know if those temps are unusually low? From what I read most normal temps before ovulation are 97-98, is that correct? Thanks for your help!

You may just have lower temps than most. I don't think it should be anything to worry about as long as they are in the same range. It's more the after O temps you want to see high! :dust:

Every woman is diff some get realy hot at night and some dont if it is normal for you dont worry about it.

I'm the same! In fact, I can't find any charts that start low enough - so I just mark the lowest temp if I'm under that. My temp raises quite a lot in the luteal phase though.

That makes me feel better. Thanks for the replies!

I have a very low BBT (and a slow metabolism, which means I gain weight easily).

When I was BBT charting, my coverline was always 97.2 and my pre-o temps were nearly always 96.xx, sometimes as low as 96.2.

It shouldn't pose a problem with getting pg as long as you o and have a decent LP! :D
