Low BBTs, a sign of??

Af is now 6 days late, started temping a few days ago but they all seem so low compared to other charts i've looked at! I know my chart won't be able to tell me anything after just a few days but my temps have been;

36.04
35.99
36.04
and today it was 36.06

I take my BBT at the same time everyday before getting out of bed after good sleep (atleast 4 hours of full sleep)

Last night i took my temp randomly at 11pm it was 34.57 !! I thought it could have been a false reading so i took it another 3 times over 20 mins and it stayed between 34.57 and 35.59.. even though i had the window open all day due to feeling REALLY warm..

Are low temps a cause for concern?? I had a thyroid test at doctors a few months ago and they said it was ok but then i read there is a more indepth thyroid test that gp's don't tend to do? I know i have low progesterone levels, could this cause low temps??

M not sure if this helps but i have hypothyroidism and my bbt is always kicking the 35.6 and 36.4 mark dont think its anything for concernx

That is a help thank you, i had been wondering about hypothyroidism but didnt want to go to the gp and have her look at me stupid!

Can i ask, do you know if low temps/hypothyroidism can cause problems ttc (or multiple chemical pregnancies even) thanks for the help x

My pre-o temps were around that range and I don't have any medical conditions.

i dont think so i did have one chemical before my daughter but thats because i have a heart shaped womb but also as soon as i fell pg with my daughter my temp shot up to 36-37 an stayed like that good luck xx

Thanks Lucky i don't really know where i am now as af is 6 days late and can't imagine being pre ov with out menstruating again first??

Sorry about your chemical Lillysmum, i will just try to chill, wait for af (fed up of waiting!!!) and then see what happens with my temps. I have an ultrasound scan booked for tuesday so in one way i want af to stay away so maybe they can see what is really going on.. hmm. ttc sucks! x

it really doea i read up so much on google so assumed i had every condition out there but eventually took it easy and only dtd when we felt like it
it was so funny because of the conditons i do have i had to be reffered to a fertility clinic and found out i was pg on the day o my first app so had too phone and cancel xx

Oh wow i bet that was a nice surprise lol! I kinda hoped we would go for the scan and find a little baby in there but that isnt going to happen now.

My gp is waiting for the scan results and then will refer me to a specialist too. How long did you wait for your appointment (that you didnt need in the end! lol, gp sent the referal for scan at end of may so its taken almost 5 months to get a date, i can imagine having to wait twice aslong as that to see a specialist! x

im sure your scan will be fine i was supposed to have an ultrasound on monday but it was my lil girls first day at nursery so had to re schedule so still waiting on a letter i think it was quite quick maybe 5 6 weeks they asked for ohs sperm sample first so they could write that off but i never got the results xxx
