low count

Hi ladies i hope this is in the right place. Ive not been on here for ages. Me and hubby have been trying for our first baby since sept 2012 so pretty much 2 1/2 years now. We have been told that hubby has a very low count 2 million at last count. And that we will need icsi to concieve. All my tests have come back fine. Only problem i have is im over weight so i need to lose 6 stone before they will do treatment. We had resided ourselves to this fact and therefore have been able to put it to the back of our minds.
Until now that is. Af was due laat friday which would of been a 29 day cycle. Im usually 26-29 days like clock work. 2day im day 34. Which is very strange. So im now 5 days late. Im putting off taking a test because i keep thinking af will come 2moro and i will.only be disapointed when she does.
Has anyone else has success or know of any success with a count as low as ours?

The only way to really know what is going on is to test.... I know the odds are low with a low sperm count but you have to remember it really only does take 1 little sperm and so you just never know. My DH has a count of 4 mill (approx) and probably always has but somehow we got pregnant with our son 6 years ago so it is possible. I understand it's disappointing to get a negative test but it will answer everything for you and who knows, fingers crossed you will get a very happy surprise and a BFP! Good luck x

Has anyone else has success or know of any success with a count as low as ours?

Similar situation - hubby has very low sperm count, I am overweight (also need to lose 6 stone before the IVF fairies will even look at us), and we've been ttc for 5 years. We HAVE had a pregnancy in that time - it ended at 7 weeks in a m/c, but it did give me hope that it is possible.
