Low Estrogen?

Over the last few months, AF has become lighter and shorter (3.5 days of light to medium flow). This month, my pre-O temps are really high (over 98). I'm afraid my estrogen is starting to plummet at 40. My mother went through menopause early and I have a low ovarian reserve. Thank goodness I have an appt with my RE to discuss injectables or IVF on Thursday. I can't afford IVF. So, hopefully injectables is a viable option. If anyone has any thoughts or words of encouragement, I'd love to hear them.

During your previous cycles, was your E2 check? Mine was checked prior to each cycle and fine. I have light, short periods. They were only 2 days. When I asked my midwife, she wasn't concerned about light periods.

My E2 was checked but it was 6 months ago. I was on clomid for 3 cycles but he didn't check during those cycles. It's good to hear that someone else with short light cycles was successful in getting pregnant, though.

I was more concerned about my lining, but I guess that's not a problem with light periods either. Go figure. Good luck! I think injectables are a good idea. That was my next move.

I have periods last few yrs only one to three days..once inblue moon four days. I also thought problem but they saidIit doesnt matter how short or light ur pperiod is.
