Hi ladies
Apparently at my booking appointment I had slightly low Platelets at 141. They have taken my bloods again today to check that they haven't gone down anymore. I previously had pre eclampsia and my son was only 4lb 2 at full term so they have given me aspirin to start taking every day. The confusing part is blood thining tablets can lower your Platelets. I know your Platelets can reduce whilst pregnant and I'm hoping this is the case and not the start of pre eclampsia again. Has anyone had experience of low Platelets? Thanks x
