Lower back pain driving me crazy~ good symptom??

I bought a heating pad Sat morning and have gotten my money's worth already! I basically wore it all weekend when at home (has ties at each end so tied it over my bump!), plugging it in whenever I was near a power outlet. Today, the pain sucks and I'm at work and cannot get comfortable at my desk for the life of me. Can't elevate my feet like I have been doing because it makes my back hurt more. Wish I could work from home!

I'm going to guess this is just a late pregnancy thing... but hopeful some people can tell me this was a symptom right before early labor?!?! Blah I guess I just need to hunker down as I am working all this week!
