Hi Guys.
So i hit crisis point twice last yr (August and September) basically breakdowns, i have since recovered and am on a NHS anxiety computerized course as we found out its more likely anxiety rather than depression. I have been on 40mg of Fuloxotine now for 6 months and have the docs today hoping he will agree to take me down to 35g, has anyone else ever been in this situation or am i alone?

I've weaned off citalopram before (became pregnant while on it) and I've found that my Dr's have been very good with going on and coming off. My Dr did say that if you've had repeated episodes it's better to stay on for about 12m in the initial instance and then slowly come down off the medication. I don't see why a small decrease every few weeks wouldn't be ok especially as you're doing the course too. Good luck x

Thankyou hun

The doctor has agreed to put me down to 20mg for the next 6 months and then see if we can lower it again afterwards :)
