LTTTC- starting new round of testes.

Hello all,

DH and I have been trying to conceive since Sept 2012. A couple years ago we had the basic tests of HSG, LH, FSH, progesterone and SA done. We were told these were all normal but I was never told any numbers. The whole process had become quite stressful, as many of you know, so we decided to NTNP. I think my husband didn't quite grasp that there could be an issue.

Fast forward to now and we are starting up tests again. Last week I went in for my day 3 blood tests. Holy 12 vials of blood, I wasn’t expecting that. I still have to go back for day 21 tests and my husband is having a second SA.

I am just looking for anyone who is close to the same part of the process as me who wants to go through it together. Or any words of wisdom

check for blocked tubes or scar tissue yet? Also AMH is an expensive test but it was the last test they ran on me to test for quality of eggs left. Also vitamin D too! There has been a link to low vitamin d causing infertility. Best thing for me to do was starting to take my temp and track (and have proof for doc) whether I was ovulating or not. It is cheaper and then you don't need Day 21 blood work each cycle. Good luck! Hope you find some answers

They checked my tubes with the Hsg and that was normal. I haven't had a lap done so I don't think they have looked for scar tissue. They just tested for AMH last week. Not sure about but vit D. I am having day 21 blood for just to check my progesterone this month, not sure if they are planning to do that every month. I did the temping and charting for over a year and it showed ovulation every month so I stopped. AF is very regular. My doc doesn't seem to think I'm not ovulating but we need to see how good my ovulations are. I'll make an appt for results after my 21 draw which is next week. Thanks for your response! I see you have already done iui that will be our next step if everything is normal. Where are you in your journey now?
