lump in neck?

ive found a lump on the right side of my neck where the main muscle goin down the side is.its about half way down.. ive never noticed it before but since my son has had lumps in his neck ive ben very paronoid about my own health too and has been feelin for lumps everywhere everday so now ive found this i keep mesing with it and wonderin if its part of my muscle or not??? have any of you got this.. im thinkin maybe im feelin for lumps thats not even there and my mind is doing overtime! thanks.

sounds like a gland to me. You have to go to the docs for peace of mind if you have health anxiety as the worry will drive you crazy x
