Don't know if anyone here use's a crockpot.
I love mine, probably some of the best money I ever spent.
This wass tonights dinner - it's one of my easy fall backs, very little prep time and once in the crockpot I can simply forget it.
This serves about 4 (depends how hungry - it would probably only serve 2 very hungry men)
1 onion chopped
2-3 cloves of garlic
1lb minced beef
500g macaroni
2 tins tomato soup
Brown the onions, garlic and beef in a frying pan then tip into your crockpot.
Pour the soup over the beef mixture. Fill 1 soup tin with water and add to the crockpot. Stir in the (dry) macaroni. Cook on low for 2-3 hours.
Variations:
Add some frozen mixed veggies.
Top with grated cheese for the last 20 mins or so.
Add a little bisto granules to the beef while you brown it for extra flavour.
Tonight I did green beans on the side.
