Made My Claim!!

Well last night I finally put my child support claim in!!

I gave them his address, 2 phone numbers & work details so i'm hoping it wont be too long. They said they aim to have processed new cases in 12 weeks!

First they are gonna try calling him! They will try each number 3 times & if he don't answer then they'll write to him. He has 7 days to respond to the letter & if he doesn't respond to that then they'll go straight to his work place & do a decuctions from earnings!!

I'd love to see his face when they call

Lol he would feel so ashamed coz i'm sure his manager would say something!!!

I suppose they have to give the blokes time to repond hence the 12 week wait! God help him if he denies being Mayas dad though!

I will go punch him if he does!!

Doyou get informed if your ex gives money?
I never enquired but they rang me and i said it would be okay for themt o contact him. Does this mean he has been paying me?

Good luck hun, the CSA is a lot better these days i had a mare when i put my claim in but i have deff seen a huge difference, they have a lot more rights now as to what they can do to get the money. x

Hope they sort it all out hunny, u do realise if u are on benefits u wont recieve all of what he pays? CSA personally i reckon is a waste of bloody time my sons ex owes me about 2 grand and just keeps switching jobs so they cant catch up with him as like u say it takes 12 weeks to sort out by which time he always moves jobs and they are back to square one! This has been going on over 3 years for me! lol

Good luck, why do men do horrible things like this?! I never had any luck with the CSA but my ex claimed to be self employed and it became too difficult for the CSA to trace him - what a lovely person he is eh?!xx

Oh yeah I know about the rules when you're on benefits

I get to keep up to £20 of what he pays. Still that's £80 a month which I can use for Mayas clothes
