Hi everyone:flower:.

My skin is nightmare at the moment. Some days it feels oily other days it's very dry and a little flaky :(.

I'm going to admit it I don't really have a skincare routine apart from washing with soap and water . But I'm starting to get spots for the first time ever! So maybe best to start I'm guessing .

So could anyone reccomend

1. A cleanser or toner or both lol.... Not to exspensive but a nice decent one please.

2. A moisturiser.... I've tried different ones but I'm not getting anywear my face is still dry :(

3. A concealer, my face is very blotchy since having Isabelle also a bit spotty so need good coverage but preferable not heavy iykwim.

4. A foundation. I'm using a maybeleine one at the moment it worked great first of All but now my skin is back to the way it was. Also need coverage .

How do you Apply your foundation with fingers, brush or sponge. I. Wondering if my fingers are affecting my skin when applying foundation  they are clean don't worry :haha:.

Any other must haves would be great Thankyou xxx

2. A moisturiser.... https://www.simple.co.uk/products/Kind-To-Skin-Protecting-Moisture-Cream-50ml-78.aspx Simple Kind to Skin Moisturiser

3. A concealer - again dont use a concealer :nope:

4. A foundation - I use Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse as it drys my skin right out, everything else I use is so oily and greasy.

How do you Apply your foundation with fingers, brush or sponge. I. Wondering if my fingers are affecting my skin when applying foundation  they are clean don't worry :haha:. - I use a brush.

Hi :)

Cleanser and toners I just tend to buy boots (it's a personal thing really but I really like No7 at the moment for skincare) now but I used to get Clarins (before I had children and had more £ for meeee!) You can get ones for different skin types ie- dry, combi etc so make sure you get the ones for your skin type.
Your skin could be a little dehydrated so I would also make sure you're drinking plenty of water :)
Moisturiser- I would have a look and see what you like really- I don't know your budget so it's hard to suggest a good one- I'm sure others will have some good recommendations - again, just make sure you're buying the one for your skin type. I'm currently using a nivea one that I quite like. I'd have a look at eye creams while you're there too- I use a gel in the morning and a cream in the evening.
I don't use concealer- just a lightening pen thing for under my eyes, mine's just from the asda make up bit-it's like the YSL one but much cheaper (I know it's prolly not as good but it does the job). I remember a lot of people recommending the Sleek range of make up in Superdrug though so maybe give them a look?
Foundation- I use the Rimmel lasting finish foundation- it gives really good coverage and is only £6 or something so quite cheap I think and people are always commenting on my skin- and it is the make up I swear as I look awful without it! :D I apply it with my fingers but sponges are good too.
Hope that helps a bit xx
