MAM feeding bottles

just curious as to why the MAM bottles that aren't ultivent aren't suitable for newborns, cos although its a long way off, i'd like to use these bottles, assuming my LO takes to them, but i'd rather not use the ultivent ones.

the only thing i can actually see is that they have a fast flow teat which would obviously have to be changed. but theres nothing else i can see at all.

The silk ones etc dont have the anti colic system in the bottom ... if they are the ones what your talking about, plus obv the teat sizes.

does the anit colic system work? cos i kow its not in a lot of bottles x

i really think the anti-colic system does work. we started with avent and switched to mam's, they are soooooooo much better :) other than the teats, i wouldn't see any reason why they couldn't be used for a new born, although (we have these bottles too) they are quite big x

We use the anti colic ones and have found them great Logans colic definaly reduced within a couple of days of using them !

sounds like the anti-colic system works a treat then, mam is definately high on our listof bottles
