atm im using tommee tippee..i dont find there is anything wrong with them but my LO is having problems with colic..trapped wind and being constipated so not a very happy baby! lol
just wondering which bottle i should switch to out of these two as i have heard good reviews on both..
also im feeding her the gold lid SMA atm..would you say i should try her on a different formula?x

I can recommend Dr. Brown's, they are fab although a tad fiddly to wash up.

Am I correct in thinking SMA has no fibre in it? I have no experience with this formula but it could be worth trying a different brand. Aptimal and Cow & Gate both have fibre.

Love dr brown bottle. They have fiddle bits but eased kaceys colic. Keep in mind that a change of formula is likely to make your baby more constipated to start with. So if you do change give it a week to see if it makes a difference. I used aptimal comfort and dr brown bottles and added dentinox to the formula. She went from screming all night to just an hour somenights till 7pm

Heard dr browns are good but I used TT with aptimil & when lo got colic just have her gripe water or infacol x

I recommend either Dr Brown's or TT Anti-Colic + (which are TT's version of Dr Brown's).

I tried MAM Ultivent (a friend lent me one) when I was looking for an anti-colic bottle that would take 9oz of milk (as the Dr Brown ones only go up to 8oz :dohh:) My LO totally refused to feed from it, it seemed like the teat shape totally confused her. If she'd been introduced to them earlier, possibly it might've been ok. I know my friend used them from when she started FF'ing and her LO took them fine

Can't really comment on the SMA, as we only ever tried it once with LO and it made her sick  She's been on Aptimil, C&G, and the comfort versions of both of these. I found the comfort milks didn't really work for her in the long run. We used a product called Windy Pops which was added to her bottles, and that was the best thing we found.
