marena coil advice pls? weight gain???

hey ladies

need some advice pls. who has gained weight with this coil as im currently trying to lose weight for holiday and wld hate this to effect things. any personal experience greatly appreciates. thanks xxxx

Hi. Anything hormone related like weight-gain, bad skin, headaches etc shouldn't be a problem on the mirena coil as the hormones are just in the womb and hardly any, if any at all, are in your actual bloodstream.

I've had the mirena in for ages now, and I am a stone and a half lighter than when I had it!

I had mine fitted in July and have also lost weight (intentionally!)

I had one several years ago too, and found it easy to lose/maintain my weight then too.
