Having discovered that very few shops now carry maternity clothes in store (resulting in me bursting into tears at the poor shop assistant in Debenhams on Monday) I'll be buying everything online this time round. To save me from buying vast amounts of black leggings from various shops only to have to send them back, can anyone suggest any that:
a) go over the bump
b) aren't see-through
c) don't go baggy at the knee if you even consider bending down

I'm not overly worried about the price since I seem to get good wear out of them (I was still wearing my trusty old H&M ones when DD was 9 months old, they just don't have any in stock). I think tops will be from ebay and I'll just hit and hope on the size

Any recommendations for maternity jeggings/black trousers also gratefully received!

Next leggings were great for me and I loved the maternity wear from new look.

It is so annoying that most of the shops have such a poor selection, I want to try stuff on!! Stalking as would love some comfy leggings :)

I have been wearing pairs from ASDA they are something like £6 or £8 and they are soooo comfortable :) I read this on another thread and decided to try and love them, they go over bump don't sag and wash up great to worth a try x

I'm an awkward size so also annoyed I'll have to order online as most of it will probably have to go back! I've also been relying on eBay a lot where you obviously can't just send everything back if no good!
Looking forward to hearing some good leggings suggestions though!

I've been wearing my new look leggings from last time I was pregnant! They are great. Obviously they were worn for my entire pregnancy last time and I've been wearing them a few months now, so now the material is starting to thin, but I'd say they've given me good value for money seen as I've been able to use them again!

I got some from New Look and they are really comfortable. the ones I got from there are over the bump, not see though and have not gone baggy. They have a few different types they sell too.

In fact almost all of my maternity clothes are from there and I really would recommend them since they have lots of choice at great prices!

I bought 4 pairs from H&M! Very comfy and they last with lots of washing! I bought it for 9.95 Euros! Shame it only goes up to XL, but I'm an 18/20 UK and it fits well!

Oops just saw that you can't get any H&M ones in! Hmm, have you tried asking your store? When I first went to get them, I saw that they only had one pair in and I tried again a week later and they stocked another 5 pairs, so I picked 3 pairs up!

I have just discovered Eden jeggings at Dorothy Perkins and highly recommend them! Bit more substantial than just leggings so better for the colder weather, and they're not actual maternity wear but they're so soft and comfy and have plenty of stretch to them, they're great for me at the moment as I'm at the in between stage, maternity stuff is still a bit big but these should last a while as they stretch with the bump! Some of the colours are on sale too, got a grey pair for £15. I just went a size bigger than my normal size and they're doing the job fine at the moment!

I got a pack of two pairs for £15 in new look and I can't fault them at all, I practically live in mine and they haven't gone see through, no sagging etc x

I'm from the states but if you can find motherhood maternity on eBay they go over the bump, are super comfy easy great and are not see through. They were $20 each which isn't too bad for a pair I wear alllll the time!

My fav over the bump leggings have been my George at ASDA ones... i love the because they come right over my belly, to under my bra and give a nice shape and support to my belly and theyre really thick x

I got some lovely ones on Ebay which are over the bump. just put in maternity leggings in the search engine and have a look at the "buy it now" offers, there are a few stores that do them.

I've been trying to get hold of some Asda ones as they seem popular, but the stores near me don't stock maternity and the website seems to only have a limited stock of sizes, I can only see some of the stuff shown in size 18 or 20!

Thats funny I spotted this thread. I bought some leggings yesterday in Matalan, nice and thick and a bargain at £8, but didn't bother trying them on and bought my usual non pregnancy size as the label said, but they are soooooo tight! I'll send hubbie back with them I think as Im supposed to be resting!!
We have a big Asda near us too, so may get him to call in there as well. Those of you who bought Asda leggings, did you buy your usual non pregnant size?
