Help!

Does anyone know where i can by a 'none dowdy' maternity nightie in the UK?

I have looked in places like Mothercare and they just have ugly giant t-shirts covered in forever friends or similar!? I think they look rather naff.

Anywhere sell nicer ones? I still want something comfy but not something that looks like a giant ugly bag!!

I got some from George at asda last time that had different characters on like Kermit the frog, but it depends if you like those kind of novelty ones. To be honest though I think this time of year all anyone's selling is thick pyjamas and onesies.

No i don't like the ones with characters on really, not my thing.

I would get PJs but i'm having an elective section and last time PJs just didn't k because the waitband is right where the scar is and ouch it hurts.

Anyone else know of anywhere? This is for when baby comes not for now, just want to have a look around

Primark and Matalan. Get the ones that have 4 or 5 buttons. They are the BEST maternity nighties ever. You can feed so easily in them. I've tried the ones that are made for nursing where you stick your boob out through a slit and they are not comfy at all. Just being able to unbutton and feed is much better.

I got two strappy ones from mothercare when I had my son. One is just black with white spots and one is plain pink. They have nursing straps. They did the job. This time I am just going to take long vest tops and comfy pj bottoms

I got nighties from Matalan last preg which buttoned down the front and were great for skin on skin contact and breast feeding. I can't remember if they were specific maternity ones or if I just ordered regular ones in a bigger size!

Have you tried in New Look or H&M like the one in the previous post? I'm not sure if they've got nighties in NL but their mat clothes are nicer than in other places.

The button primark ones are very useful with breastfeeding! I agree!

I know what you mean. I had hard time to find any lingerie or nightwear for pregnancy/nursing that was of a good quality and looked pretty.
