Mattress advice for toddlers moving to single beds?

Hey do I go firm medium soft can I go to memory foam or do i want orthopaedic? Thanks ps it's lower than his cotbed so he'll be fine xx

We just bought a cheap soft one. They only weigh a couple of stone
