I have been eating dijonnaise mustard for the past week as been loving it but I read the back today and it's made with 50% Mayo and now I am worried about the affects of listeria as it's a big no no for Mayo in all baby books here.

Are u in uk if so unless it is home made all mayonaise is made with pasturised. Eggs and their fore perfectly safe x

I'm in nz and midwife has said no Mayo or runny eggs. I just never thought to check mustard. Even after over six months it's still can be hard to keep track or what you should /can't eat.

Mayo like that is fine, it won't be made with raw eggs (which is the reasoning behind avoiding mayo).

Anything in a jar is fine...

Its like the fresh mayos made with raw egg u gotta watxh out for

store brought mayo is safe so mustard brought from the store should also be safe. If you haven't gotten sick from it by now after a week of eating it I would say you are fine, I've eaten mayo on everything this pregnancy, I love the stuff and mustard is starting to be my new thing as I'm nearing the end. I'm fine.. you are ok to carry on but if you are worried then just stop eating it now :) xxx

I'm sure its fine. In the uk it will say if its pasteurised egg in it or not (pasteurised is fine). 9 times out of 10 here its pasteurised if its in a jar/bottle (excluding fresh mayo). Have a look on the label and if its not on there then email/call the manufacturer to enquire x
