MC to EP to Pregnancy

Hey, i'm new to this site. I'm a mom and wife. I have a son, and 2 loss babies. ( from a miscarriage and tubal pregnancy )

I had a laparoscopic salpingectomy March 2nd. Yesterday, i found out i was pregnant. Although, this time we didn't try, I'm excited. I'm setting up an appointment soon, i hope and pray that this be my uterus pregnancy and i carry it all 9 months.

But i have a question, have anyone gotten pregnant right after an EP and had a successful pregnancy and healthy baby? Because I'm worried right now.

Hi I just wanted to say congratulations. I had an ectopic pregnancy and a tube removed 6 months ago- we won't be TTC for a few more months yet though.

You give me much hope that it won't take too long to fall pregnant when we do try.

I can understand your worry, have you contacted your OB for an early scan to check location?

Congratulations!! I just found out I was pregnant yesterday too. I have had recurrent MCs and an ectopic in January 2012 that also was removed by laparoscopic salpingectomy. I unfortunately lost my left tube, or at least most of it, and had almost given up on having a child since then. We weren't trying this time either. I know with having ectopics it puts us both in the high risk pregnancy category, but there are plenty of women who go on to have healthy, normal pregnancies after an ectopic.
