I'm measuring 3 weeks ahead . If I stayed ahead what is the likely hood of labouring early ?

It falls within normal range and is no indication of going into labor early.

I measured between 2 and 3 weeks ahead with DS1, there was no sign he was coming by himself early or on time, thy induced me due to reduced movement the day before my due date but they had been trying to induce for a whole week before it was successful so measurements are clearly no indication of when you will labour unfortunately xx

I measured 1-2 weeks behind most of the time with my babies and it was due to a combo of me being tall and the baby being on the small side. The latest I've gone is 39+5; so far I've never made it to my due date! So I honestly think how big you're measuring has no bearing on when labour will start. Baby comes when he/she is ready :)

Well let's hope hey as my husband is away working the beginning of October . So going early would so not work

I read something about the fetus's lungs releasing a protein into the amniotic fluid that initiates labor only when they are mature and ready for the outside world. This leads me to believe that the size/weight of the fetus has very little to do with length of pregnancy.

I am measuring a bit ahead but my doctor didn't seem to think it was much of a big deal. He just said we'd see how I was measuring again at my 28wk appt.

Im measuring almost 3 weeks ahead, but wont change due date, if i went by last af id be further along but i have irregular cycle so.cant go by that

I'm measuring a full month ahead fundal height measurement-wise, but my doctor hasn't said anything about it pushing my due date up. She just thinks he's a big baby. Size doesn't necessarily correlate with the development/birth readiness of the baby.
