medela harmony manual pump - how to clean???

Hi ladies,

I've seen 2 different manuals (1 online and 1 that came in the pump box)... The online one mentions sanitizing daily in boiling water whereas the one that came in the box with the pump says to only wash in warm soapy water or dishwasher, rinse well and air dry after each use. Worried I didn't sterilize right now and my whole freezer milk supply can't be used

Anyone else used this manual pump and how did you clean it?

The warm soapy water should be fine. Sterilizing isn't generally required in the US. I got one of these pumps from the hospital and the lactation consultant there told me to wash in hot soapy water and that was all that was needed.

i never sterilized my pump. I just put all the pieces in the dishwasher and called it good.
