Medicine?

Hi girls. Hope you are doing well.
I wasn't feeling well yesterday at all and this morning I am worse. I have a pounding headache and all my sinuses are blocked up. My throat is all swollen up and I can't even speak. Oy. Anyways, I wanted to ask you guys because I'm not sure if it's okay or not but can I take Dayquil Sinus so I can breathe and feel a little better? The active ingredients are acetaminophen and phenylepherine HCI. Bleh, I was hoping to get through this pregnancy without getting sick but apparently not!

acetaminophen is just like tynelol, and is considered safe in all stages of pregnancy.

phenylepherine HCI is found in like cold sore creams and like anti-inflamatories, and guidance is usually, only to use when obviously needed.

I would take it, if you really needed, but I can't tell you for certain that it won't cause any issues... best advice if ou are not certain is, go to a pharmacy, a pharmacist will usually be able to advise you really good.

x- My ds was kind enough to share his cold with me.

I just got off the phone with my nurse. I was told tylenol, claritin and I have one of those vaporizer plug in things.. thats pretty much it..

I'm hoping it makes my eye crossing sinus headache go away.

Tylenol, Sudafed, and Claritin are pretty much the only safe over the counter drugs to take while pregnant. These were on a sheet my OB/GYN gave me.

i don't think that the phenylepherine HCI is a good idea..
my OB said sudafed only for colds.
