Hi girls. Hope you are doing well.
I wasn't feeling well yesterday at all and this morning I am worse. I have a pounding headache and all my sinuses are blocked up. My throat is all swollen up and I can't even speak. Oy. Anyways, I wanted to ask you guys because I'm not sure if it's okay or not but can I take Dayquil Sinus so I can breathe and feel a little better? The active ingredients are acetaminophen and phenylepherine HCI. Bleh, I was hoping to get through this pregnancy without getting sick but apparently not! :nope:

acetaminophen is just like tynelol, and is considered safe in all stages of pregnancy.

phenylepherine HCI is found in like cold sore creams and like anti-inflamatories, and guidance is usually, only to use when obviously needed.

I would take it, if you really needed, but I can't tell you for certain that it won't cause any issues... best advice if ou are not certain is, go to a pharmacy, a pharmacist will usually be able to advise you really good.

Good luck, and feel better :flower:

x- My ds was kind enough to share his cold with me.

I just got off the phone with my nurse. I was told tylenol, claritin and I have one of those vaporizer plug in things.. thats pretty much it..

I'm hoping it makes my eye crossing sinus headache go away.

I feel for you.. i've had a pounding headache all day, it's the worst thing ever :nope: x

Tylenol, Sudafed, and Claritin are pretty much the only safe over the counter drugs to take while pregnant. These were on a sheet my OB/GYN gave me.

i don't think that the phenylepherine HCI is a good idea..
my OB said sudafed only for colds.
