Menorrhagia and TTC is their any hope

Hey ladies, a little info about me since my 2nd son I've suffered with periods and being too regular its been a nightmare I've tried birth control and different kind of tablets to stop the bleeding and nothing is helping. This has been happening for nearly 2 years now I literally bleed for around 3 weeks heavy with some times a week break or few days. My consultant has given me more tablets and I've started upping my vitamins she has basically said if my periods don't calm down the only other option is hysterectomy which I will have next year. We wasn't trying for a 3rd baba but we have been thinking and we want to give it one last shot before the surgery its actually made us realise how much we actually would like another, I know the odds are not in my favour as I'm always bleeding so doing the deed is near impossible. Is their any success stories? Any one having same issues? Any way to calm the bleeding?

I've had loads of tests and scans they can't find out why its happening everything looks healthy. We have started opks but I'm cycle day 10 and my period seems to be getting worse I just wish I knew away to stop it so we can at least give it a try but the more I read the more I'm starting to feel like giving up and just having the surgery.
