Hello, I have been prescribed 500mg of metformin daily in order to help regulate my cylces (usually around 36 days). We have been trying to conceive for about 6 months now with no luck. I had lab work done and it came back that I have no PCOS. However, my gyno still prescribed me metformin to help get my cycles shorter and help us conceive. My question is, is it normal to be put on metformin even though I do not have PCOS or insulin resistance?
