Metformin & Dizzy Spells?????

Hey Ladies!
I have been taking Metformin 500mg once a day at supper time, and I have been getting some dizzy spells. I was taking a diet pill last week and thought that was the problem (maybe them mixing wasn't a good idea). I quit taking it on Saturday and was feeling fine, then today I got dizzy again...has anyone ever had this happen to them???

Funny enough I have been feeling dizzy too. I assumed it was to do with my low GI/low carb diet. Maybe it is the Metformin. I am on 1500mg per day. I will watch this thread to see if anyone else has this!

It may be from the low GI diet. I have actually thrown in some "bad-for-you" food, just because I don't want to throw my body into shock, and it has actually helped. I think I jumped in to fast and my body was working too hard to get rid of everything. I am going to move slowly getting my body through this. Good luck to you!!
