Hello! Has anyone ever been prescribed Metformin by their doc for Endometriosis? I have been TTC for 2.5 years. My doc thinks I have Endo, and has started me on Metformin. Success stories?

I've never heard of using it for Endo. More for PCOS as difficulty controlling blood sugar is one of the complications. Will be interested to see what else falls out of the woodworks on this topic.

I was told that it would help with insulin resistance, and reduce/control the inflammation of the endometriosis.

Hi! Never heard of it being used for endo. I'm on it for insulin and regulating my cycles.

Let us know if it works for you. :)

Ive never heard of it for endo either, I am taking it to regulate my cycles/PCOS. Been taking it for going on 2 weeks now almost at full dose of 2000mg. Good luck! I hope it helps you! Take it on full stomach!!
