Hello

Ive been taking Met for about 3 weeks now and wondered if anyone else was or has been on Met and how it went?

I've been on Metformin for about 18 months.

It's stopped me gaining weight and slightly regulated my period.

I came of it for a while but started stacking on the weight so back on it now.

Also, it depends why the dr put you on it int he first place x

I have tried to take Met a few times, I'm suppose to be on it. But I find it stops my Cycle completely - my first attempt left me with a 60 something day cycle...Drove me crazy. So now I just take Clomid -

But thinking of giving it another go....again.

I've been on Met for about a year for my PCOS. It's worked really well for me and has regulated my periods.

I have been on Metformin for 18 months now for PCOS, it hasnt helped my cycles at all or helped me ovulate but has helped me stop gaining any weight thankfully. All I can say is if it gives you a really upset tumm, stick with it, it does get better promise!
