Dh SA tested vital Azoosperimia ... so sad ... he is no longer on board! No adoption no donor sperm no fostering :( He is hurt bad by this news

He agreed to blood work hormonal and next SA will do next week our next appt is in 4 wks for results:( fingers crossed....

I am anxious!!! It looks like IVF and ICSI .... very $$$ but I want to accelerate the process ....
not likely this is the hurry up and wait game.....

So sorry to hear this. My DH has Azoospermia too due to a genetic condition, so I know precisely how you're both feeling right now and all I can do is send you :hugs: Time does help, I promise. Your DH may also come around to the idea of donor sperm or fostering/adopting, but obviously things are very raw at the moment. Unfortunately you're right that there will be lots more waiting involved and it is pricey too. Thinking of you both.

I'd definitely recommend you visiting the azoospermia thread on here - it's full of loads of support form lots of wonderful ladies going through the exact same thing: https://babyandbump.momtastic.com/problems-trying-conceive/376424-dealing-azoospermia.html

hi-we just got the news the other day that DB has triple defect....
it is hitting very hard and he thinks he is too old to have kids

I am hoping he is willing to go through the testing to see if it is an easy fix-
good luck to you ladies

Please join the Azoo group posted above. We've been there. It takes awhile for the news to sink in but you may find options that will work for both of you.

They will find out if he has a production problem (non obstructive, which my DH has) or obstructive from either scar tissue or from being a CF carrier. They will likely do genetic and hormonal tests, then offer to do a biopsy to see if they can find sperm. It does take awhile to shift from TTC to knowing you're totally on hold. You may feel like you don't really fit in with anyone who isn't azoo. I know even the MFI people frustrated me, especially at first, because they even had a few sperm to work with. Let yourself grieve, be angry and you'll both come up on top again. Men and women grieve differently too, so it helps to have some women who have BTDT to vent away to.

It's a long and scary journey, especially at first, but the group got me through it and were so knowledgeable.

I'm so sorry. It's not fair at all.

Thanks for the reply
I do not see a link for the azo group.
We are not totally azo.
Count was 9.9 but there are also motility and morph issues.
It would be nice to get to know some of you though and get ideas how to cope.
