i know they say you shouldn't, but I cannot get up half an hour early during the night - or leave him crying for half an hour!

how long in the microwave?
also, is it ok to microwave with the teat on the bottle?
(because not all of my bottles have the stopper thing on them!)

i dont use microwave ...it's to hard to see if the milk is heat at the right temp and evenly ...but cant you use a warm bottle ?
mine only take a minute to heat the milk even less...it's probably the same time that using a microwave...

10 secs if room temp, 20 if from the fridge

mae sure you shake it really well and i put just the bottle in not the teat not tht it makes much difference :)

Make sure you put the formula milk in once you have heated water as milk gets hot spots.

I have a 1000w microwave and I put it in for 10 seconds from room temp. It just takes the edge off.

I put bottle, teet and lid in and obviously shake vigourously after.

It needs to get to above 70 degrees...so maybe get a thermometer to test some to see how long yours takes?

Mine is a 800w and it takes 45 seconds to warm her 9oz bottle

FYI - BPA free bottles are ok in the microwave, ones containing BPA shouldn't go in the microwave as the waves make the bottles release chemicals in the water which can be harmful. I know this wasn't the question but I thought it was good advice anyway.

my microwave is 800w and it takes 45 minutes to heat a 7oz bottle from the fridge to room temp.

I don't have a microwave, but before I go to bed I boil the water and put it in the sterilised bottles for the night time and first morning feeds. When he wakes up I put the powder in and boile the kettler then sit the bottle in a jug of hot water for a couple of mins.

I'm the same as sweetcheeks, we just put boiling water in a bowl and dunk the bottle in, no problems and it doesnt take long at all!

I keep all my bottles of water in the fridge.

I have a 800w microwave and it takes 1minute to heat a bottle direct from the fridge.

I then add the milk and shake to ensure there are no hotspots.

It was trial and error, i did it in 10 second increments until i got to the right temp and now just do it for 1min and test but its always spot on

x

an easy way of doin bottles is boiling the water then keeping the hot water in a flask, then take the flask up to bed with you, make the feed when LO starts to stirr and cool it down in a jug of cold water- takes about 3 mins. i do this in the day aswel. x
