Middle name for Meredith

DD1 is Eleanor (Nora) Skye. I picked the first name, and DH picked the middle. We're expecting another girl, and this time he's suggested Meredith.

Two names I'm leaning toward right now:
Meredith Saffron
Meredith Lark

Both are a not-too-obvious nod toward Indian culture. Saffron is a commonly used spice, and larki is Hindi for "girl." (Beti is "daughter" but I don't feel as drawn to Meredith Betty.)

For the record, we are both white Americans. I have a strong affinity and ties to Indian culture, having traveled there a few times, spent time studying and performing Indian dance, and learning to speak and read Hindi. So while I like a name with some ties, I also want to be respectful and not appropriate a name outright.

Meredith Saffron is a bit of a mouthful for me. I think Meredith Lark sounds nice.

Lark is pretty and very feminine sounding. I really like it with Meredith. Not Into Saffron as a middle name.

I think Meredith Lark is absolutely beautiful. And I agree, Meredith Saffron is a mouthful.

Meredith Lark is my choice. I also agree that it goes well with DD1's name.

After some back and forth, DH said he didn't like either name, and we were debating some other options, but nothing felt right. Then someone posted an article on obscure french names, and I think I found our winner.

Meredith Solene. Pronounced suh-LANE, means "solemnity." It's got good flow and looks similar to our first dd's middle name (s...e similarity).

This better be it, because my due date is not far off, and I think the baby dropped tonight!
