midwife appointment..

so was tested for OC last week and went to get my results today..
midwife said they wer abnomal but not enough to say i have the condition and to get induced which is a good thing but they are gunna check again in 2 weeks to see if the levels have risen/stayed the same or gone down..

my iron is low so they think im anemic-not good at all coz i wanted a water birth so bad
but shes phoned my doc to give me a prescription for iron tablets n im to take 3 a day..

babys stil engaged but she said she thinks shes comfy in there lol
i asked about sweeps/being induced-what the procedure is coz i know every midwifes/practise is different..

at 39weeks she said she would give me a sweep but then wont induce til im 12 days over-omgg i hatee to even think thatt

hopefully ur levels will stay down then, but even if they do go up, you will have your baby here quicker lol. so dont worry too much.

that's ashame about the iron thing hun

i asked my midwife last week about sweeps. they dont do them here until 40 weeks +

hehe, good that your levels aren't really high - hope you and LO stay well!!

and ohh, still if you're not having a water birth there's so many other things you could do.. just speak to your midwife - maybe a birthing ball or something?

ohh here they don't even do a sweep till like 41 weeks!!
