I heard somewhere that once a mother nurses her child, say if something bad were to happen to somebody and she had to take care of their baby a couple years from that time, if she were to keep putting the baby to her breast to nurse him/her eventually her milk would come in again. All it needs is for a baby to be put there.
Anybody heard anything about this?

Even adoptive mothers can breastfeed with enough stimulation by baby (and in some cases hormone treatment) so it's certainly possible!

And mothers who have decided to give up breastfeeding and change their minds later can establish a milk supply again (google relactation) x

Never heard about this but sounds interesting-mite have to get google on it!! x
