MisCarriage??.... confused please help!

hey ladies... so i have been soo confused lately... i got blood work done on monday the 18th.. they said my hcg levels were 41...(and i was onli 3 weeks) and then wednesy i went back and got them tested again... they said i had dropped to 37.7 so naturally i got really upset as in usually wen u drop it means u r miscarrying.. or did... then she said the doc was gunna review my chart and call me on friday (she said this thursday) so finally at 1pm yesterday i get a phone call.. not from a doc tho.. it was from the receptionist and she says "the nurse whants to no if u can come in rite now for blood work" i said no i cant im at work... so then she says how bout tommrow morning or tuesday morning... i said fine ill be there tommrow morning (today!).... now i have not officially been told by the doctor or nurse that i miscarried or am going to... and now they are calling me for more blood work... can ne one help me here... give me nething i dont no what to do or how to feel....and my head has been spining forever.... nething is helpful thank u very much...

Oh dear, I'm so sorry they haven't been telling you what may or may not be happening to you, sometimes the medical professionals forget we are are people with feelings.

yea i no.. so i just got back and i asked wat is going on... and she tells me they are still trying to figure out if im still pregnant or if i did loose the baby... idk... the doc may calll me today if not then im supposed to get a call tuesday... ughhh!

I think its just not clear, because it can drop and continue to rise, but the only thing is to follow it with blood work. I've been there, and it didn't end to kosher (ended in an ectopic), so it can go either way. I know that sucks to not know and to have to wait to find out and i'm sorry for that. They should follow you every 48hours to see if the numbers are rising accordingly, I would push for it.
