miscarriage dreams!

I keep dreaming that I'm bleeding - really vivid dreams - then I wake up and nothing's there (huge relief!) Anyone else having this? I'm a bit worried it's a premonition! But probably just my subconscious churning out my worries during the night... x

Just your worries hon. I had a dream like this and when I told my sister (who happens to be really into dreams etc) she looked it up for me and apparently it doesn't mean you are going to lose your baby but that you are actually worried about losing a part of yourself. x

I've had a few dreams like this since the beginning. Luckily, all seems to be ok. It sure is relief once I realize it's just a dream. I like the "losing yourself" explanation above...that's interesting. Or it could just be your worries and insecurities coming through your dreams. Regardless, they are just dreams so don't put too much into them

I actually wrote a post just like this a while ago... I was having the same thing, super vivid dreams about bleeding. I was worried that the pregnancy was doomed. The dreams started right after I got my positive (3 + 5), and I'll be 8 weeks tomorrow, so I don't think it really means anything... just your worries playing out in your dreams.

i had a dream a few days after i found out i was pregnant that i went to the doctor and the baby had no heartbeat so they gave me the abortion pill and i took it, then they found a heartbbeat and said it was too late. it was scary as hell but i woke up in relief it was JUST a dream. dont pay any mind to dreams no matter how real they seem

i get these crazy vivid dreams as well. They freak me out, but now i think it occurs just because as new expecting mothers, we get so stressed thinking about the well being of our lil beans, so we start seeing silly dreams! we'll be okay!

I haven't had that particular dream but I am getting lots of really vivid, crazy baby-related dreams. The other night I dreamt I had had the baby, but that we had given her away in the hospital 'just in case' we couldn't cope, and I was somehow already pregnant with another one but desperately trying to get her back. Horrible mad dream! But I don't think that one was a premonition somehow and I don't think yours was!

Yay just checking in to see how you're doing! Glad everything is going well, I'm sure you are going to be absolutely fine

No picture is the same! I know, looks such a cool relaxed baby doesn't he/she! The funny thing is that throughout the whole scan the baby was incredibly active so I don't even quite know how the sonographer managed to get that shot

Ok I was pregnant in july about 4 weeks, woke up on july 24 and started bleeding bad, I ended up having a miscarriage. I had no previous problems or even pains. 3 weeks after miscarriage I found out I was pregnant again. I am currently 9 weeks 5 days, I've have 3 dreams that I'm bleeding and I'm afraid now. Is this just from my fears or a good indication I will miscarry again. I have 5 kids and this will be number 6, I've only had one miscarriage and all my other pregnancies have been good with no problems. I'm worried sick. Even though I feel fine and have even seen the babys heartbeat at 6 weeks. 120 beats per minute. The dreams just has me worried. Any words of comfort will help. Has anyone had bad vivid dreams about miscarriage yet had a healthy normal pregnancy afterwards. ? Thanks in advance. Thenabell

Just letting you know that this thread is from over a year ago (Feb 2011) so you might not get the replies that you are hoping for.

As far as your dreams go, I'm no dream expert, but I'm positive that you're going to be fine. You're just worrying yourself at night which is causing unnecessary stress to you & your baby. And it's also causing your dreams. Just try and relax. You will be fine.
