miscarriage scare & baby measuring behind (kind of long)

Two nights ago was the worst night of my life !
I go to the bathroom and the whole toilet was filled with blood.. I automatically FREAKED out, screaming and crying hysterically.
I went to ER, and they were the worst.
They put you on a 1-5 for seriousness and they put me as a 3!
It was packed in there, and we were there for 6 hours and never got seen. To top it all off, OH had stomach flu and had to run outside/bathroom every 15 minutes throwing up violently.
So, I had an OB appointment in the morning. I thought I would wait it out because the bleeding had mostly stopped. I was just having pink/brown discharge.
Anyways, two days before this happened my doctor called to tell me I have a UTI. I gave my urine two freakin weeks ago and he didn't call me till now ! I couldve had this for two months for all I know. But I didn't feel any symptoms, so I thought I would wait the two days for my OB appt to make sure I had one, because my family doctor is an idiot.
I went to the ob the next morning and she did a pap and sent me down for an ultrasound to see if baby still had a heartbeat.
I was sooo nervous ! I went into the ultrasound room and she immediatly let me hear the heartbeat.
I was SO releived.
Me and OH saw baby jumping and waving around as if he was saying 'mom, I'm all fine in here!' I was in tears, best feeling ever !
And we even think its a little boy now, because we thought we seen a little weiny ! Ultrasound tech even said it looked like a boy, it wasn't umbilical cord because she showed us that

So ya, that's what's been going on.
Anyways, OB didn't really tell me what caused the bleeding. Do you think its from the untreated uti? If I would have felt any symptoms I wouldve got it looked at right away..
I'm on antibiotics for a week, and I'm still having pink discharge when I wipe. Do you think this will go away when the uti is treated?
And also when I went in I was 13 weeks 4 days and baby was measuring a few days behind, this is normal right?

Any advice would be appreciated ladies x

Well I miscarried at 7 weeks a year ago. I started spotting lightly and went to the er they said I had a uti and it would subside. I took the meds but the bleeding got worse went to the doc and had a heart beat. But the bleeding just got worst and had blood clots in it , I went back to the er and confirmed I was miscarrying. Anyway I had a natural miscarriage and it lasted a while.

but I know it's normal to bleed when having a uti when pregnant. Just have to make sure you get it treated because a infection. Is bad for the baby. I didn't miscarry because of the uti it was because of the genes.

I this I your fine just make sure the uti goes away. I had lots of pain. So if no pain. I would say your fine
