Misscarried #1 :'(

Hello Ladies,

A while ago I posted about trying to get pregnant after 4 years of trying. Finally on April 15, 2016 at 4am a BFP!, was were so happy, the first ultrasound was great, baby peanut was doing great and FHR was 121, sounds like a boy right. She schedualed me for another ultrasound the following week because I have been having slight bleeding. So I went back and done the whole routine and the baby again growing like a weed but the heart beat dropped to 118. So yesterday was my next visit I was 8 weeks 2 days. The baby grew so much it seemed to me but the heart beat stopped and the growth at around 7 1/2 weeks. There was no heart beat I wanted it to be a dream. I want this pain to go away even though it was just yesterday. I want our child back, its heart strong. I know God has a reason for everything but I dont see the reason. I was eagerly awaiting our christmas mirical on December 27th, 2016.

I have a D&C schedualed for Tuesday, it hasnt became real to me that my baby has passed. I know tuesday that it will, and the worst of the worst will hit me.

Moms that have went through loss and had a D&C how long did it take you to get pregnant afterward. I dont want to wait long and I know that they want you to wait till the bleeding/cramping stops and you have your first cycle. But is it true are you more fertile after it.

I'm so sorry for your loss. It is so hard having a miscarriage and I imagine it is even harder when it was after trying for so long! Take care.

I have had 2 d&c's and it took about 6 months for me to get pregnant after. I hope it happens a bit quicker for you. I didn't try the month after the d&c's.

It hurts I want it all just to be a dream. I feel like I am giving my baby up even though the baby rests with God.

I didn't have a D&C, and unfortunately the most fertile after a Mc wasn't true for me either, I'm still trying

I'm so sorry for your loss, life is unbelievably cruel at times.

I'm so sorry for your loss. It's such a horrible thing to go thru. I have been told by my Gyn as well as friends and family members that you have a higher chance of conceiving in the 6 weeks after a MC or a live birth due to your elevated hormone levels but I think having a D&C may counteract that. At least everyone I know it happened to didn't have a D&C but right now you just need to take care of yourself and you'll know when you're ready to try again. Prayers...

I took miso instead of doing a d&c. I'm on cycle 4 after my MMC and still trying. Recently discovered I have a progesterone deficiency. Trying Prometrium this cycle to see if it will help.

Like Miso soup powder? I'm going to ask about the Prometrium at my follow-up. They've never mentioned that to me. Each time they tell me my progesterone is low after I'm already miscarrying and I ask if they can do something and they always say it's too late and never offer a solution to prevent the MC. I'm still not bleeding and my nipples are REALLY sore. I guess there's nothing to hope for with a negative blood and urine. My 2nd MC I went in and they told me my hcg was hitting borderline level and I'd have to wait and see what happens. It's took 2 weeks! The worst 2 weeks of my life. I had blood drawn daily and would just leave and go to the church and pray. I just watched my baby die day-by-day and nobody was doing anything. I don't understand how I can MC 5 times from low progesterone and there is nothing they can do. Am I crazy or stupid? Everyone one here is so savvy and knowledgeable and I've never heard of any of these things. I take a prescription pre-natal and prescription folic. I feel like the dr doesn't want me to have one because he keeps reminding how old I am.

Sorry I don't know all the lingo but I hope this next cycle works for you! I'm sorry you've gone thru this kind of loss too. I believe they say lots of baby fairy dust to you!

Miso=misoprostol or cytotec. When pregnant it is unclear whether or not low progesterone is a cause or a symptom and docs tend to think that it is a symptom of a non-viable pregnancy in the majority of cases. They should, however, do further testing after three consecutive miscarriages. After the MMC, my ob told us to just keep trying for another year. She only agreed to test my progesterone 7 days after ovulation bc I told her that I was concerned I might not be ovulating anymore.
