Missed test or no LH surge

I track using clear blue advanced. I missed Ovulation test on the 12th and 14th of this cycle- stupid test errors and had to rush to work both mornings without doing another test (should have peed in a pot I know!). All the test says now is high. I am hoping I just missed the LH surge. DD a few times over that period.I use an App too and this says predicted ovulation today on the 16th day clearblue still not detecting LH surge. Does anyone have a better way of tracking? Hoping I'm not out this month.
