Basically I had no idea about the £100 SMP rule (because I'm an idiot and didn't read the notes).....and so I've just sent my renewal off (online) stating my full income from 13/14 as on my P60, when I should have really deducted £3900!!

I've still got my annual declaration paperwork, just wondering if it's worth sending off the papers or calling them in the morning? Will they change it over the phone?

Luckily it won't mean any overpayments, but could mean underpayment so would like to get what I'm owed if possible.

Grrr, could kick myself for not knowing that loophole!!

I'd just call them and explain? Should be relatively easy :)

Thanks, I called tonight at 7:50pm and the automated bitch hung up on me :haha:

I'll call in morning! Such a dope!

They're usually very helpful when you phone (If you can ever get through )

It's all just done on the phone, they don't ask for proof or anything you just tell them how many weeks you were on maternity for that tax year. Awesome, love me a back payment lol.

Thanks all, I'll be on hold in the morning

From what I can work out it's about £840. Not bad

Sorted it. Phew! And updated everything for this year.
