Mmr Varicella vaccine

Anyone have a bad time with this one? My son spiked a fever of over 102 on Monday, one week after the shots. Then the measles rash appeared yesterday (A light one). Now he has a temp a bit on the low side. He has been a pretty miserable and needing to be held. Sleep has been bad. Was crying from 10pm-1am last night. Not napping much. His appetite is low. This is day 5 of being I'll. I know reactions can happen for up to 6 weeks after but I feel it's been going on too long.

Sorry your lo is feeling poorly. I suppose we've been lucky as dd has never had any reaction, not even a fever, from any of her immunizations. Could it possibly be something else? DD was sick the week after Christmas with fever and feeling very bad for a week. No rash though. A week does seem like a long time for a reaction to last. Hope he feels better soon.

My LO was sick with a fever for 2 days about a week after her MMR. I was told at the time the symptoms after the MMR tend to be a bit more common/noticeable than other vaccines.

I think he is finally feeling better. He slept well and is back to doing the things he used to. Almost seems he is back to needing 2 naps a day. Still a fight to get him to take them though. He has been at one nap since 11 months old.
