(posted this in the baby club area but thought i'd get more input here.)

can we use the ordinary hug hold instead of the newborn hug at 2 months (5.9k & 58cm)?

guide says we have to wait til 3 months but i'm worried elijah might be feeling squished. he has creasemarks on his thighs when i take him out.

(thanks, elm, for your input in the other thread.)

Ally was never a really newborn newborn and didn't like to be swaddled or enclosed in any way lol. So we moved to the ordinary hug very early on. I just moved one strap a bit to make sure his head was supported when he was sleeping but when he was awake I used to have to put a hand on the back of his head as he was too interested in looking around. :dohh:

As a complete aside, I still love our moby wrap and carry Ally in it quite a lot and he is not a small nearly 1 yr old! x

thanks for the input. elijah & i both love the moby wrap, too!

I always used to put Elliot's head in one of the side bits when he fell asleep (he didn't like it when he was awake!! x

I adore my Mody wraps, I have 3 of them lol I will carry my 5 month with her legs tucked up inside still, sometimes. We still use the cuddle hold!

I only did the legs tucked in thing once...Elliot found he could push up on the wrap and head butted me  xxx

 isn't it such a pain when they do that?

I usually put Alice in with her legs hanging down now bacause she tries to stand up in it if her feet are tucked in. Like bethanylee I have to support her head when she's awake but I can (sometimes) tuck her head in if she's asleep.
