Ok, so lets pretend that money is no object and you are a bazillionaire ten times over.

You need assisted conception.

Would you still have your free goes on the Nhs or would you go straight in for private treatment?

well, i went to the GP last week and he said hes guna refer me to ob/gyn for ivf on nhs. then someone offered to pay for all my treatment privately...

can you guess which option i took?

Id still have had togo private but didnt vote.we were no allowed on a waitin list due to bein too young togo on one.

i voted to go private, because i think it would be better, more one to one with drs and not as many stressed people about you for being over worked.

but DH works off-shore, and normally money would be no object but this year we have bought a house and got married, not to mention we bought a car so money is not readily available right now, and won't be for about 6 months. so we will take what we can get for now! in the words of a supermarket, every little helps! lol!

i am having private ivf because were not eligable for it on the nhs, after experiencing private treatment i would go private for all medical treatment if money were no object x

yeah afraid so.we were 23/24 at the time and was told wed have to he 32 Togo on one.so on course we went private and im an egg sharer

I am entitled to one free go on the NHS but havent and wont use it. I have had 3 private cycles but as i can afford to pay, i will pay to save what i can for an already stretched NHS. In addition, im 37 so i really dont have time to wait on for the NHS to get around to seeing me but im not convinced i get better treatment just quicker.

Sometimes they will cut treatment off if you have priv cycles whilst waitin with nhs so do be carefull and find out what your position is now that youve gone private
