From here# The mammary glands enlarge causing the breasts to swell and become tender in preparation for breastfeeding. This is due to an increased amount of the hormones estrogen and progesterone. A supportive bra should be worn.
# A woman's areolas (the pigmented areas around each breast's nipple) will enlarge, darken, and may become covered with small, white bumps called Montgomery's tubercles (enlarged sweat glands).
Okay so I'm 6dpo today, my boobs have been tender the past couple days and today I just noticed these clusters of small white bumps on my aerolae. The aerolae themselves seem a bit bigger and possibly darker than I'm used to as well.
Anyone else experienced this?
