Mother drives car into river drowning herself and her 3 kids

Apparently she was a good mother who cared for her children, but after an argument with the childrens father she did the unthinkable. She must have been extremely desperate and depressed.

The 10 year old son, escaped and swam to shore, alerting the authorities but it was too late

RIP to the mother and her little ones.

There is just too many of these cases in recent times....

I hate reading about things like this.
How could anyone ever think the best thing for their own child is death?
I know people have problems, but for it to go un-noticed until something like this happens - it just shouldn't!
Fair enough if people want to take their own life, but do they really need to take their childrens too?
That poor poor boy....my thoughts are with him and his family.

Thats awful. Clearly she wasn't right in the head to start with, i've had plenty of heated arguments and not once have I thought of driving off a cliff or whatever.

How selfish of her to kill her children, I don't care if thats harsh. But trying/killing your kids is also harsh. It's selfish and unfair because they don't get a say. What a waste of life. How old were her LOs? Do they know?

And I can't even begin to imagine how that poor boy must be feeling. This is something he'll carry around with him for the rest of his life.

EDIT: Oh i've just seen, 5, 2 and 11 month, how disgusting. She doesn't deserve to call herself a mother. I know some people will hate me for saying that but she doesn't. It's her job to protect them, what a disgrace.

Something similar happened near here a few years a go. A woman purposely drove into a dock with her two children in the car, drowning them all
