Hi,

Does anyone have a mouli and have you found it useful? I am looking to buy one and was just wondering if anyone would recommend one that they use?
Thank you!
xx

I just use a hand blender, it does the same job i think

dont wanna sound totally stupid but what is a Mouli???? :dohh:

also known as a food mill it should be used for pureeing peas, corn from corn on the cobs and potatoes (apparently if you use a blender to puree potatoes it can make the puree very sticky due to the release of the starch). I just bought one from Boots (20% off at the moment) but haven't used it yet so couldn't recommend it so far.

I used a blender. Or a fork, and a sieve if I wanted to be really high tech/not release starch..

so many of annabel karmel's recipes say to use a mouli but think i might try a hand blender of sieve and fork to see.

thanks!
