This is my third, so around 15 weeks I noticed for sure baby movements. I could feel them pretty much everyday, usually in the evening after the kids went to bed and laid down on the couch. Ive noticed for the past weekish, no movement. Nothing. I know LO is in there because ive checked with my doppler, but im curious why Im no longer feeling any movements at all. Kinda has me worried

This happened to me. When I started feeling him move around (felt first kick in week 15), I would have a week where there was a lot of movement, then another several days with nothing. Even now it varies a lot.
I'm sure you'll feel LO move around again soon- might just be in a position that you can't feel as well, or perhaps you've been really busy at the times when your LO has been moving around strong enough for you to feel, so you haven't noticed.

Well there are a couple of things here.

1.) Baby is in a weird position and has moved to where baby is kicking backwards instead of your front. This could make it less likely for you to feel movement.

2.) Baby is being a lazy bum!

and the last idea is that something that you should talk to your doctor about. Sometimes the umbilical cord can wrap around a body part and restrict movement. You'd still have a HB but baby may not be able to move!!! This isn't good either.

Since it's been a week, I'd talk to your doc. HB is a good sign :flower: but doesn't mean everything is okay! I am not trying to scare you, just want to make sure LO is happy and healthy all snuggled up in there properly :)

My MW doesnt really take into consideration no movements until your about 20 weeks because she says a lot of woman just dont feel them and its early.. blah blah blah. I just thought it was strange, theres just nothing. Ive even been sitting here for about an hour, and nothing. Just strange, but it could be normal. Id just feel a lot better if I felt something.

Baby must have felt my concerns, because just now, two light kicks... :haha:

Oh, and theres another. Gotta love how they arent even here yet and they can cause so much worry lol

They sure can cause you worry! I was just like you yesterday, the baby must have slept all day because I barely felt a thing! I spent a solid 2hours in bed reading and that's when I always get a few good kicks but yesterday nothing

I knew I had a dr appointment today, so I tried not to panic. Then I woke up this morning and the baby has been practicing its ninja moves all day, pretty much non stop haha.

I had same concern. It's my second pregnancy and I started feeling flutters at about 15 weeks....then from about 17-18.5 not much of anything. Now I feel her all the time! It's worrying for sure. But i really don't think movement is a reliable indicator of anything until 20 weeks.

Glad your baby moved....doesn't want mamma to worry.

xx

I'm going through the same thing right now. But I find when I'm not feeling the baby move I also have a harder time finding the HB. So I figured baby has switched positions or is hiding. I felt him/her all last weekend and have been having a few slow days. But I figured I'm still a little early and I'm sure by 20 weeks we'll be feeling lots of movement!
